INFORMAL DINNER

OLYMPIC CLOSING CEREMONIES

Sunday, February 28, at 5:30 p.m.

“Chef” John Cossom and the Executive Committee invite all members of the Oak Bay Lawn Bowling Club to an informal dinner at Carnarvon House. For some this will be a first opportunity to enjoy the impressive new video system we’ve purchased for viewing the Olympic Games, and other uses such as viewing training videos.

The dinner costs only $8. Reservations can be made through “Maître D.” Kay Alexander at 250-598-4040. A delicious meal (not cooked by the President) will consist of meat pies (chicken or steak) from the Brentwood butcher, homemade beans, and dessert. Please call Kay and reserve now to ensure your seating, and so that she can accurately order the food we’ll need. See you there!
